We think the two most important considerations in choosing a great pair of earrings are comfort and appearance. We like to design our earrings for all types of tastes using a diversity of materials and combining colors in intricate/funky or classic ways. However, one of the main reasons women are skeptical to wear clipons is because they not only need to look good they must also feel good. We want you to enjoy your earrings regardless of the closure you choose.

Based on the comfort-level our clip closures are basically divided into two groups:

Screwbacks closures
These closures allow the wearer to manually control the tension to the earlobe. There is no need for pads or cushions. Earrings with screwback closures ship with no cushion pads as the comfort is built-in the design of the closure, although many wearers may purchase the pads as an extra tool to maximize their comfort even more and to secure the item from slippage.

Hinged closures without screwbacks
These closures do not provide the ability to control the tension, instead they snap against the earlobe. Although many wearers find the tension adequate, others find the pressure to cause discomfort, this is specially true for new wearers. To minimize these problem, we add a complimentary pair of cushion pads to all earrings that do not have a screwback closure.
