Crazy4clipons: About us

Crazy4clipons is small family business store. Our online store is based in Northern California. Our goal is to create an easy, happy online shopping experience for people who love earrings. We cater to people who do not have their pierced ears and have found previous limitations finding beautiful contemporary earrings that are stylish and comfortable. Yet, we are delighted to make changes to our earrings for pierced ears too!

Not only clip earrings. Our online store caters to non-pierced wearers but we are happy to exchange our closures to pierced. Our main goal is to allow women to find beautiful earrings regardless of them being pierced or non-pierced. We believe there is no reason for people to have to pierce their ears to wear lovely earrings. We want this to be a shopping place that you can find all types of earring styles, sizes, colors and clip findings whether you have pierced or non-pierced ears.

My name is Barbara, I am passionate about earrings. I love other jewelry as well, but to me, earrings are that piece of jewelry that brings focus to the face. A beautiful pair of earrings is like a finishing touch on a canvas, it can tie-up any look while framing the face. Earrings are so incredible versatile, they can be sublime, a subtle touch playing a secondary role or they can become an incredibly bold statement enough to allow you to build your outfit around them.

I am a true believer of variety and choices. You can say I am an eclectic person. I enjoy having access to all types of styles and I love the ability to match a beautiful pair of earrings to any outfit based on my moods (which varies on a daily basis). I take advantage of this chameleon side of me and design our earrings styles with that in mind.

In our store expect to find classy earrings (nothing like a pair of elegant pearls to wear with your little black dress), ethnic styles (chandeliers that compliment a hot dancing outfit). Maybe you fancy a pair of unique bohemian earrings to go with that funky long skirt? how about long sensual pair of stilettos to show off the shoulders? or, a kicky pair of earrings that looks just right with a pair of jeans and t-shirt? Yes, we have them all, the choices are all yours!

As you can see, Crazy4clipons is based on choices and variety. This philosophy is also a basis for the materials used on our creations. I like creating styles with all types of materials. Swarovski crystals, czech glass, murano beads, wood beads, bone, lamp work, acrylic/plastic beads, german silver, sterling silver, silver plated, gold plated, brass, gold filled, string, cords, semi-precious stones. I like to create pieces that are beautiful, fun, eclectic. I am sensitive to many needs in terms of allergies, looks and sizes (specially for children). I strive to explain all the materials in all ads and provide you with options so you can choose the right color and the right closure. My ultimate goal is for you to get that pair of earrings that will look great and will feel great.

Crazy4clipons was born in 2005, yet short after our internet birth, I found many of my customers requesting earrings not only for them but for their children! ... therefore I started an earring line for little girls. This has turned out to be an incredible fun project! I have a group of young girls (my little helpers) that have become the basis for my quality control team. They are, with all honesty, as strict with their choices in looks and comfort as their mothers. Designing for them is absolutely a blast!

We offer earrings for all: Adults, teens, children/kids - clip, non pierced or pierced.
We understand that not all clip earrings are the built the same. Our store carries one of the largest assortment of clip findings/parts available for your needs: Hinged, screw backs, pierced like, paddle backs, nickel free, posts-to-clips. We offer choices in metal finishes: Gold, silver, copper, antique bronze, gunmetal etc.
We design earrings for children with love and care. Our clips4kids clip backs are small, perfect to fit the small features of our young customers. We offer complimentary clip earring cushion pads with all our children earrings. We want our young customers to wear earrings made specifically designed for them, no need to wear earrings with adult-type clip findings. We strive to provide our young customers a sense of style and comfort.
Handcrafted creations. 90% of our inventory is handcrafted, in-house designed creations. We search for beautiful beads and we hand-picked our materials to make lovely, fresh off the bench, items.
We also offer fun, affordable, seasonable items: Bold, trendy light clip earrings made to wear for fun or specific seasons, great clip earrings for teenagers.
We strive to offer finished coordinating products. Top-to-bottom metal finished product. It is hard to find metal finished earrings with matching colored closures. Why wear your copper earrings with mismatched gold clip backs? We match earrings with the perfect closure for a complete finish earring design.
We offer clear photographs and provide sizes on all items. We want to ensure you can see all the details of our products. We provide multiple views/close-ups of each item for you to see. Product size is approximate in inches. Our goal is for you to see clear pictures of our products and find out about all the details of their materials and constructions before your purchase so you can make the best educated choice.
We display our earrings in their natural hanging position, the way they are meant to be worn. We will also show our product laying flat - which shows several details about the materials and other angles -however we recommend making your decision based on how the earrings fall vertically.
